The SYFY channel is coming out with a new horror-comedy movie, Killer High, and we’re breaking it down for you! The TV movie is all set to premiere on October 20, 2018 at 9:00 p.m. EST, and we have all the details on the cast, plot, and the latest trailer.
Killer High is a one-of-a-kind high school movie with a horror-comedy twist to it. Entertainment has always been SYFY’s motive and they are very famous for their high school drama line-up. But this movie promises to be an out-of-the-box, gory entertainer!

Sabrina, who is shown to be a typical high school diva, is very excited about a reunion party that she’s planning for the class of 2008. “This reunion, my friends, is going to be killer.” That’s where she’s probably a little too right for her own good!
The party ensues with Sabrina’s old girlfriends making appearances that come straight out of a fashion campaign (with wind-blown hair and all). As with most reunions, the people at Sabrina’s party have also come together after many years looking all shiny on the outside.
The movie might start off with reminiscences of Mean Girls or The DUFF, but things take a bizarre turn at Sabrina’s party, when a boar-like monster starts rampaging, chomping people to their deaths.
The ridiculous animation and VFX indicate that we, as viewers, really shouldn’t take it too seriously.
On that note, surrounding the plot itself is Sabrina’s vengeance, and the hunt that follows. She hates the monster for “ruining her party” and won’t settle for anything less than his head.

Kacey Rohl
Character: Sabrina
Rohl, 27, is a Canadian actress. She was born to director Michael Rohl and playwright Jan Derbyshire, and hails from British Columbia. Rohl began studying acting when she was 14 years old, and some of her most recognized roles are from Wayward Pines, Hannibal, Once Upon a Time, and Arrow.
Born on August 6, 1991, this 5-feet 5-inches-tall woman plays the lead role in SYFY’s Killer High, where she is on a vengeful quest to kill the warthog that ruined her party!
Asha Bromfield
Character: Margo
Bromfield was born on November 8, 1994, making her age 23. She is best known for her role as Melody from the Josie and the Pussycats band in Riverdale.
This 5’4” stunner decided to keep her natural afro as a default hairstyle back in 2016, sticking to her roots. She has been a singer since she was 5, and the performing arts have always been her cup of tea.
In Killer High, Bromfield plays Margo, who is one of Sabrina’s stylish friends, and she is a crowd-pleaser! She is best friends with a slightly nerdy but very sweet Ronnie, and the duo soon get involved in helping keep people alive while assisting Sabrina in her boar hunt!
Varun Saranga
Character: Ronnie
You may recognize Saranga from the infamous show Wynonna Earp, where he played the role of Jeremy Chetri.
Saranga is originally from Scarborough, Ontario, Canada, where he attended the Woburn Collegiate Institute.
He grew interested in film-making and acting, and decided to pursue a career in the movie industry. He began with the French-Canadian TV show How to be Indie. You may also know him from shows like Unnatural History, Lucky 7, and Cra$h and Burn.
In the SYFY film, he plays the role of Ronnie, who is a lovable nerd. He gets dragged into the whole gory mess as his best friend Margo decides to put an end to the killings.
Humberly Gonzalez
Character: Rosario
Gonzalez is a Venezuelan-born actress who is best known for her role in Orphan Black. This 5’5” model is also popular for her impressive Instagram photos.
She is also on the homicide detective show The Detail, along with playing the role of Vanessa in an upcoming series called In The Dark.
In Killer High, she plays the role of the suave Rosario, who was the “it” girl in her school. She was captain of the debate team, captain of the archery team, and was also valedictorian, which paints her character to be a little snooty.
